What is PDRN?
PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotide) is a mixture of DNA fragments that a PubMed Central review says is made from the sperm DNA of salmon trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) or chum salmon (Oncorhynchus keta). The main proposed mechanism is activation of adenosine A2A receptors and supply of building blocks to the cell's nucleotide salvage pathway. The cited work is mostly animal studies and small clinical studies, for example in diabetic foot ulcers.
