Wondertox is a South Korean botulinum toxin type A supplied as a powder to be prepared into a solution before injection. It comes in 100 and 200 Unit strengths, one vial per box.
A powder has to be prepared into a solution by the doctor, following the instructions of the product used. It differs from products supplied as a ready-to-use liquid, and the strength on the vial is not a recipe for mixing it yourself.
Read the brand name and strength on the box in full, and tell the doctor which brands you have used before.
Tell the doctor about allergies to medicines or ingredients, medical conditions, pregnancy or breastfeeding, current medicines and earlier injections. The doctor weighs these precautions against your individual plan.
If you had an unusual reaction after a previous toxin injection, describe the brand, the area treated and the symptoms. Do not choose a strength or change products on the basis of another person's treatment.
Toxin injections can cause pain, swelling, bruising and other adverse effects. The doctor explains what to watch for and how to reach the clinic afterwards.
Difficulty swallowing or breathing, or unusual weakness, needs immediate medical attention. Tell the treating clinician which product was used.
In Thai, botox is the common word for type A toxin products given by a doctor, while Botox is also the trade name of one particular brand. A shared ingredient does not mean every brand has the same formulation, strength units or instructions.
Suitability is for a licensed doctor to assess from your health history, precautions and intended plan. Mention earlier toxin treatments and current medicines.
Country of origin identifies a product but does not decide suitability. Ask the doctor why a brand is chosen and what precautions apply, rather than choosing by country or vial price alone.
The treating doctor explains what to expect and when to follow up after assessing you. Contact the doctor if anything unusual happens after the injection.
Have the doctor decide the strength first. Do not pick the vial with the larger number in hope of a result, or set your own amount.
The price depends on the model and the quantity.
