Neuronox is a botulinum toxin type A, Hall strain, made by Medytox Inc. in South Korea, supplied as a white freeze-dried powder in a clear glass vial.
The Korean label lists these approved uses: benign essential blepharospasm (patients 18 and over), foot deformity caused by spasticity, and upper-limb spasticity after stroke (patients 20 and over).
These uses are taken from the Korean label. When a doctor uses it for aesthetic purposes, the doctor assesses the person and explains the plan at the consultation.
The maker says to store it at -15 to -5 °C, or in a refrigerator at 2–8 °C, in a closed container. The shop packs it chilled and ships by EMS.
Shelf life is 24 or 36 months from the manufacturing date, depending on the strength.
Neuronox is Medytox's botulinum toxin type A, registered with Korea's MFDS. Whether it suits a given person is for the injecting doctor to judge at the consultation.
Neuronox is made by Medytox and uses the Hall strain, and Nabota is made by Daewoong. Both come from South Korea.
Thai speakers call botulinum toxin type A “botox” in everyday talk. Botox, though, is Allergan's trade name, and Neuronox is a Medytox brand, so they are different brands.
Timing differs from person to person and by the area treated. Ask the injecting doctor at the consultation, since the doctor can answer for your own case.
The price depends on the model and the quantity.
