Hitox 100 Units is a type A botulinum toxin (Clostridium botulinum toxin type A) from BMI Korea Co., Ltd. of South Korea. Each carton holds one vial of dried powder that is mixed into a solution before injection.
Mention any reaction to toxin products or their ingredients, nerve or muscle conditions, and infection at the proposed site. Also share your medicines, supplements, pregnancy or breastfeeding status and earlier injections.
After the injection, pain, swelling, bruising or weakness in some muscles may occur. Know in advance how to reach the clinic, and get medical help at once if swallowing or breathing becomes difficult.
The carton states storage at 2–8 °C. Keep it refrigerated in its original packaging. The clinic should read the actual vial's documents for preparation and storage after mixing.
Korean botox is a common name for toxin products made in South Korea. Hitox is made by BMI Korea there, so it fits that description. Still, name Hitox 100 Units when you ask or order, because Korean botox on its own does not point to one product.
Choice of brand rests on the doctor's assessment, your health history and the treatment plan. Compare manufacturer, strength, form and the documents of the actual product, and never let unit numbers alone decide between brands.
Ask the injecting doctor how progress will be assessed and when to return for review. Before treatment, find out who to contact with questions. Another person's experience is not a schedule for your own treatment.
Look for a clinic where a licensed doctor performs the injection and opens the product so the name, strength, batch and expiry can be checked. Ask how follow-up works and how to reach the clinic after treatment before you decide.
The price depends on the model and the quantity.
