In short

  • A box holds five 10 mL vials, 50 mL in all, in clear glass with red caps and red labels. The box label states external use (USO EXTERNO / EXTERNAL USE).
  • The label ingredients are centella extract, DMAE, acetyl hexapeptide-8, quercetin, sodium chloride, horse chestnut leaf extract, Hieracium pilosella (hawkweed) extract and fumitory extract.
  • If a clinic or doctor chooses to use it in a meso procedure, the decision and the procedure belong to the licensed practitioner.

Mesotherapy and cautions

DermNet describes mesotherapy as giving small amounts of a substance into the skin through a very fine needle. How this product is used is for the label and the practitioner's assessment: follow the wording on the label of the box you receive, and do not use it in any way the label does not describe.

DermNet lists the reported side effects of mesotherapy as allergic reactions, swelling, skin infection, changes in skin colour and bruising. The practitioner using the product explains the risks beforehand.

Tell the doctor or pharmacist about any allergy to the ingredients, especially the plant extracts such as centella, horse chestnut, hawkweed and fumitory, and about the medicines you take, pregnancy or breastfeeding and the condition of the skin where it will be used.

The box and the vials

The triangular box is patterned with a red and black volcano and prints the inno RedLava name and 5 x 10 ml. The front carries a Q.C. Passed sticker; the back carries a bilingual ingredient list, the words Made in Spain, the manufacturer and the Thai label.

The vials are clear glass with red caps and red labels showing a volcano and the inno RedLava name.
