What to tell the doctor before use

The tranexamic acid injection leaflet on DailyMed lists active intravascular clotting and hypersensitivity to the drug or its ingredients as contraindications. The same leaflet says that using it with hormonal contraceptives may raise the risk of thrombosis.

Tell the doctor about any history of blood clots, drug allergy, current medicines, kidney disease, pregnancy or breastfeeding. The doctor judges whether it suits that person.

What the Philippine FDA says about injectable glutathione

A GMA News report (17 January 2024) quotes the Philippine FDA as saying injectable glutathione is approved only as an adjunct to cisplatin in chemotherapy. The FDA has not approved any injectable product for skin lightening, and no published clinical trials cover injection for that purpose.

Frequently asked questions

What is glutathione?

Glutathione (GSH) is a small tripeptide built from three amino acids: glutamate, cysteine and glycine. A review on PubMed Central describes it as the cell's main antioxidant. The reduced form (GSH) makes up more than 98% in normal cells, and the oxidised form (GSSG) is two GSH molecules joined by a disulfide bond.

What is tranexamic acid?

As an injection, the DailyMed leaflet classes it as a prescription antifibrinolytic. The indication that leaflet gives concerns haemophilia patients having teeth extracted; it belongs to that product, not to this listing.

What is ascorbic acid?

Ascorbic acid is vitamin C. The DailyMed leaflet for an injectable form (ASCOR) lists short-term treatment of scurvy in people who cannot take it by mouth, and says it is not indicated for vitamin C deficiency without signs of scurvy. That indication belongs to that product, not to this listing.

Who should use this product?

Because the box prints Intravenous injection, a licensed doctor should assess and administer it. It should not be prepared or used on the strength of someone else's experience. Suitability depends on examination and health history.

How much is Kuhravitae Complete+ Dual Effect Cell Plus?

The price depends on the model and the quantity.
