Definisse Touch is a cross-linked hyaluronic acid (HA) filler with lidocaine from RELIFE S.r.l. of the Menarini Group, Italy, made with XTR technology.
XTR stands for eXcellent Three-dimensional Reticulation, the cross-linking technology the maker applies to RELIFE's HA fillers.
A 2020 Polymers paper on this HA filler range reports that every Definisse line, Touch included, contains 0.3% lidocaine.
It is not meant to be bought and injected at home. The provider first judges whether it suits the client, then goes through the contraindications, risks and side effects listed in the maker's instructions.
If you have ever reacted to lidocaine, to another local anaesthetic of the same group or to any other component of the gel, tell the injecting doctor beforehand.
A filler is a gel that a doctor injects into the skin. Touch is a hyaluronic acid gel.
To make the injection more comfortable. Lidocaine is a local anaesthetic, and RELIFE adds it to its XTR-technology fillers; Touch carries 0.3%, like the rest of the range.
It differs from Restore, which the maker designed for fine lines through to deeper folds. Which line suits whom is for the injecting provider to decide.
Like any filler, it carries risks, so only a licensed healthcare provider should inject it. Ask that provider about Touch's contraindications and side effects before you decide.
The price depends on the model and the quantity.
