What is Neobelle?

Neobelle Filler Contour is a cross-linked hyaluronic acid filler from South Korea, developed by Ildong Pharmaceutical, with one 1.0 ml syringe per box.

In short

  • The box is printed "Neobelle CONTOUR | PARTICLE" and "1.0ml", in violet-blue tones. The launch coverage says Neobelle comes in several models split by particle size and use, and Contour is one of them.
  • The developer's launch coverage states that it uses HA raw material of about 3 million daltons, made with Ildong's patented method for ultra-high-molecular-weight HA, at a KGMP facility approved by Korea's Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS).
  • The syringe has a double-grip finger rest.

Ildong Pharmaceutical and the Neobelle name

Neobelle is a hyaluronic acid filler brand developed in-house by Ildong Pharmaceutical of South Korea. The 2017 launch coverage says marketing is handled by Ildong Aesthetics, an affiliate specialising in aesthetic medical devices.

The name combines Neo, meaning new, and Belle, French for beautiful.

Risks after filler injection, per the US FDA

The US FDA calls filler injection a medical procedure; the provider should hold a licence, have experience and be trained in fillers, and the filler should never be self-injected.

Common effects are bruising, redness, swelling, pain, tenderness, itching and rash; less common are lumps, infection and allergic reaction; and, rarely, injection into a blood vessel can cause tissue death, vision problems or stroke.

Anyone with inflamed or infected skin, a bleeding disorder, severe allergies, a tendency to raised scars, or who is pregnant or breastfeeding should talk to the doctor before treatment. If unusual pain, a vision change, or pale, grey or bluish skin follows, get medical help at once. Storage follows the leaflet in the box.

Frequently asked questions

Is Neobelle Filler good?

That depends on each person's health history and goals, which the injecting doctor assesses. What can be checked, per the launch coverage, is listed above.

Is Neobelle Filler dangerous?

Neobelle carries the risks every filler does, from common effects such as bruising and swelling to the very rare serious events the US FDA describes. A licensed doctor injects it and assesses your own risks.

What is hyaluronic acid (HA)?

HA is a substance found naturally in the body, and in cross-linked fillers the HA is bonded into a gel. Neobelle uses HA of about 3 million daltons, and the 2024 Polymers review notes that HA fillers in general are mostly made by microbial fermentation and then cross-linked to withstand enzymes.

How is Neobelle different from Neuramis?

Both are Korean HA fillers but they are separate brands from separate makers; Neobelle was developed by Ildong Pharmaceutical. Choosing the brand and model for each case is the injecting doctor's assessment.

How many cc is one syringe of Neobelle?

One syringe of Neobelle Contour holds 1.0 ml (cc), as printed on the box.

How much is Neobelle Filler (Contour) Korean Filler?

The price depends on the model and the quantity.
