Yvoire is a cross-linked hyaluronic acid gel filler brand with 0.3% lidocaine from LG Chem, South Korea, with one pre-filled 1 mL syringe per box.
LG Chem's Yvoire website shows the products as a three-step line according to the physical properties of the gel: Classic, listed for fine wrinkle correction and volumizing; Volume, listed for deep wrinkle correction and volumizing; and Contour, listed for volumizing and contouring.
Each line has its own gel and leaflet. The doctor chooses the line that suits each area and each person.
According to LG Chem's website every Yvoire line contains 0.3% lidocaine so that the patient is more comfortable during treatment. The Classic and Volume syringes hold 1 mL of gel, and the enclosed needles depend on the line, for example 30G and 27G for Classic and 27G for Volume.
The syringe is pre-filled, so there is no mixing before use. Storage and shelf life follow the label and the leaflet of that line.
Any dermal filler can cause temporary or permanent side effects. According to the US FDA the most common ones, swelling and bruising, appear soon after injection and many resolve within days to weeks.
The FDA names unintended injection into a blood vessel as the most concerning risk. It is rare, but the result can be serious and permanent, including tissue death, vision problems including blindness, and stroke, so a licensed and experienced doctor must always give the injection.
Contraindications and precautions for each line are in the leaflet in the box. Tell the doctor about allergies, medical conditions, medicines including those that make you bleed more easily, and earlier filler injections. The doctor explains the precautions and how to reach the clinic afterwards.
That depends on your skin, the area and your health history. The doctor decides which line suits you.
It is made in South Korea by LG Chem, and it is not the French village on Lake Geneva. LG Chem states that it launched Yvoire Classic in March 2011 as the first Korean hyaluronic acid filler.
In Thai it is usually written อีโวร์ (ee-woh).
How long a filler stays in the body differs by person, area and line. The treating doctor explains it for your case.
A 1 mL syringe equals 1 cc. LG Chem lists the Contour line in both 1 mL and 2 mL sizes.
The price depends on the model and the quantity.
